Cliche Finder: Just copy and paste your own writing into the box, and the website will identify overused, or cliched, phrases or sayings in your work. Then, you can revise the phrase to make it more original.
Dictionary.com: Offers a free online dictionary, thesaurus, quote finder and a bonus word of the day.

Purdue OWL Writing Lab: In my opinion, this is the best site out there for writing. Use this for just about anything, but it is fabulous for MLA citation and research questions, in particular.
Capitalize Your Title: Type in your title, and the site will automatically capitalize it in the proper way.
Formatically.com: A website that will help you automatically format your essays according to MLA rules. I'd prefer you learn the rules - they are very simple - but if you forget, this is a great resource!
EasyBib: One of the best FREE sites to help you properly cite during research and to create your Works Cited page in the proper MLA formatting.
Grammarly Handbook: A fabulous reference site for all things grammar.
